Labour24 is a boutique labour consultancy which provides a comprehensive and legally sound “nose to tail” service from employment or independent contractor commencement through to dismissal and also provides a fully independent litigation service as a back-up. We operate nationally with bases in Johannesburg and Cape Town and a growing presence in Pretoria and Durban.

Labour24 is headed by Jeremy Crawford. Crawford is an admitted attorney who has specialized in South African Labour and employment law for over 20 years. He completed his articles in 1992 with the renowned Raymond Tucker and during his early years of practice, Jeremy primarily worked for individual clients and various unions including SACCAWU, TAWU and Hotellica and sees problems from both sides of the proverbial fence.

 

Jeremy Crawford

Crawford was admitted to practice as an attorney in 1992 and specialises in Labour litigation, in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. He presents also seminars and training events and consults to all Labour24 clients on executive dismissals, restraints of trade, unfair labour practices, large scale retrenchment, collective bargaining and discrimination cases. Crawford’s client base includes SOC’s, manufacturers, radio stations, insurers and a range of small corporates.


Shadlyn Sadan

Sadan was a Senior HR Manager with a listed corporate and consults on all the day to day problems HR Managers face. She also has an established track record as chairing a complex range of misconduct and incapacity hearings and operates from Cape Town primarily servicing a large international food brand.


Bennie Spies

Spies is a Senior Labour Consultant with a Diploma in Labour Law. He has been with Labour24 since 2004 and has vast experience in chairing Disciplinary Enquiries and restructuring businesses. Bennie also provides Training on IR related topics.


Thabang M. Ngobeni

Ngobeni is an admitted attorney and advises clients on litigious employment law matters and chairs disciplinary enquiries too. He also has a strong civil litigation practice.


Amanda Van Loggerenberg

Van Loggerenberg provides office and logistical support has an advanced labour law diploma and is an accredited mediator with an MBA.
